FOREWORD
Welcome to the Poole Car Centre Stages in association with Racetec at Avon Park, near Bournemouth.
We have been fortunate to secure the
support of Poole Car Centre and Racetec as sponsors for this
event.
The rally this year will be a round of
both the ACSMC/ASEMC Rally 2000 Tarmac Stage Rally Championship and the IMTEC
ASWMC Sealed Surface Stage Rally Championship.
As always, we are supporting a
charitable activity, for 2000 this is in conjunction with The Daily Echo Centenary Pot
of Gold Appeal, therefore in setting the entry fee we have included a
donation of £10 per crew to this worthy cause.
This of course does not preclude you from adding a further contribution
should you so desire - please add this to your entry fee.
We return again to Bournemouth International Airport and will use their facilities for
the presentation of awards, and in addition your entry fee includes 4 meal
vouchers to the value of £3 each that can be exchanged at the Airport
restaurant in payment for food.
During the day, on-event catering will
be provided at Avon Park as will toilet facilities.
We expect this years event will be well
supported, and we urge you to get your entry in early. As ever Southern
Car Club will be working hard to provide as much stage mileage as we can in
the time available. Those of you that
have been to our events previously, will know that we work hard to ensure that
you have a busy day with a minimum of delay, with something to challenge both
driver and navigator; specifically the features that characterise our events,
namely the tulip road book and open multi-bar chicanes.
Naturally we have placed the usual
requests for good weather, and we look forward to seeing you this year and hope
that like us, you'll all enjoy yourselves.
