Competitors' Round-up

December 1996

John Blaber
is moving his A6 Peugeot GTi up to A7 for next year with a 1905cc engine. A range of other mods are needed for the class change, which must be completed in time for the Winter Rally.

Sue Orchard/Graham Morris
have an entry for the Carfax Stages at Longcross in their 1400cc Group N Metro. They will be aiming not to copy the high-jumping Neil Cloughley at the top of the slopes...

Catherine Phillipson
and Richard Worts were one of the 46 crews not to make it beyond stage 4 of the RAC.

Richard Phillipson/Catherine Phillipson
took their N3 Astra to the Lynn Stages at Snetterton in pouring rain. A variety of spins and a broken driveshaft left them 30th overall and 8th in class.

Paul Smith/Graham Davey
were found guilty in the Guildford Night Trial of coming 7th overall, m'lud.

Team Fortnight (Colin & Michael Weeks)
have been competing in two PCTs. Falcon Southern Autos saw them come 4th/5th in class and the Falcon Guy Fawkes Trial found them a better 2nd/3rd in class. In each case Michael was second in Team Fortnight while Colin was only last but one... More events are coming up - this is obviously a busy time for Production Trialists.
